Mike was previously a Director of Certus Financial Group and now operates as a Satellite Adviser under the group. He began working in the life insurance industry back in 1985 and has also worked offshore in London and Edinburgh. He specialises in Personal & Group Life and Health Insurances, and more recently extended his services to assist with Car, House, and Contents Insurances.

Mike has the National Certificate in Financial Services Certificate (level 5) and maintains current practicing certificates through regular training; important in keeping up to date with the industry and legislative changes.

Mike has held management roles in sports retail and professional sports as well as a sales role in the health insurance industry. He began with Certus Financial Group in 2009 and then move into ownership and management of the business in 2016. This gives Mike the very broad knowledge essential to advise how insurance policies can be tailored to best meet the client’s needs and contractual obligations.

A keen outdoors and sportsman, Mike spends a lot of his spare energy getting out on the water, bike, or 4WD with his wife when he can.
