Milly has worked in the Insurance industry since 2016, starting off working in Banking Life Insurance and then moving into the brokerage space. Milly worked a Technical Lead for Insurer product training and knowledge, with a specialism in legacy Insurance products. She then worked as an Account Manager for Employee Benefits managing over 80 businesses and their Group Life and/or Health programmes which she found extremely interesting and rewarding.

From then, Milly worked for a large brokerage doing both General and Life and Health broking which gave her a solid foundation of knowledge on products and Insurers available on the market which she brings with her to Advicelab. Milly has completed her Level 5 NZ Certificate in Financial Services in General Insurance and Life and Health Insurance, and has worked with several Adviser mentors which have been invaluable to her growth and development. Her focus is on building long-lasting client relationships and providing a wrap-around service where clients are looked after for all their Insurance needs in one place. Relatable and reliable, Milly aims to connect with her clients to build trust and stay with them throughout their client journey. From inception to Claims, Milly is available to take the stress out of the process and advocate for you.

Outside of work, Milly loves spending time with her dog Wally and partner Hayden – at Hataitai or Lyall Bay beach if the weather is good! Milly has been a lifelong Hockey player, as are her family members. Milly is also a Marriage Celebrant on the side – a hobby job which is extremely rewarding and fun!
