Nigel Rukuwai
Nigel has been an Adviser in Nelson for the last 16 years and prior to that, a Sales Manager with AMP for 18 years. He is passionate about how, as Advisers, we help clients make better decisions. As the Principal of Wealthpoint Nelson, Nigel ensures that strategic planning is always on the agenda and as a Director of Wealthpoint he looks to drive the right outcomes for all parties.

David Gyde
David has been a financial adviser since 1991 and is a Director and Shareholder of Amicus Group Ltd, based in Christchurch. David is a Financial Adviser and gives advice mainly on risk insurance, mortgages, health, and investments. He deals with a range of personal and business risk clients, also looking after a number of clients that have personal investments.

Scott Russell
Scott is a third generation Adviser and has been around the industry his entire life. He graduated with Law and Commerce degrees from the University of Auckland and practised law for four years as an Associate at a leading New Zealand law firm.
Scott was eventually drawn back to the fantastic Bay of Plenty lifestyle and has now been practising as a financial adviser for more than 10 years. He runs the six-person adviser business Wealthpoint Team Russell.

Melissa Still
Melissa has been the business principal at Mainland Insurance & Mortgages in Timaru since 2007 which was the commencement of her career in financial services. In 2020, she became a registered financial adviser after having completed the NZ Certificate in Financial Services level 5 with a focus on life and health insurance solutions. As a shareholder and Director of Mainland, she has helped shape the 10-person strong company into the highly regarded adviser business it is today.
Melissa has two adult sons, a grandson, a plethora of good friends and loves to keep learning, keep fit and celebrate life in general by raising a glass with her friends and colleagues alike.

Brendon White
Brendon is a Director and a Financial Adviser with 25 years' experience working in the New Zealand financial services industry. He specialises in Investment Planning, Retirement Planning and KiwiSaver providing quality financial advice to ensure clients reach their Wealth Management and Retirement goals.
Over the last 25 years Brendon has gained the following qualifications- Bachelor in Business (Marketing Management), Graduate Diploma in Business (Personnel Financial Planning), and NZQA National Certificate Level 5- Financial Services. In addition to this, Brendon has a keen understanding of the financial services industry and regularly attends industry forums and training sessions.
Brendon has been married for 19 years and has 3 daughters that enjoy school, sport and the local East Auckland community where they live. Brendon also enjoys sport in particular football (soccer), running, coaching kids' sport, and being involved with local community schools.
Independent Director
Peter Stubbs
Peter spent over 35 years practicing commercial law and was a partner with Simpson Grierson for more than 25 years until he retired from the firm in 2017. As a company director, Peter has over 20 years of governance experience at every level (board member, sub-committee member, Deputy Chairman and Chairman) including current roles as Chairman of Rotorua Airport and the Independent Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of Waikato District Council.
Peter is married with two adult children and lives in Cambridge. In his spare time he enjoys music, fitness, gardening and learning more about investing.
Managing Director and CEO
Simon Manning
Simon has been the CEO and a Director of Wealthpoint since the company formed in early 2019. Prior to that, Simon was the CEO of the adviser association that Wealthpoint was formed from.
Simon has worked in the financial services industry for nearly 35 years and is highly experienced across product, distribution, operations and strategy roles. His previous corporate roles include with AMP as General Manager Life Insurance and General Manager Distribution Operations.
Outside of work, Simon is an accomplished sailor who has competed in many national and international events in a range of classes. His lifelong interest in the marine industry has also led to him owning a boat painting and marine services business, Boatspray Ltd since 2008.
